The Shimano - Expride series exudes quality and in terms of technology it ranks directly below the world-famous Poison Adrena. The Expride range includes a wide selection of rods for lure fishing.

The extra fast action makes the Expride family suitable for almost any modern fishing technique and a wide variety of lures, i.e. all finesse techniques (e.g. drop shot, Texas, Carolina), fishing with hard baits (e.g. twitchbaits, crankbaits, topwater) but also for light spin fishing for trout. The fast action makes the rods very sensitive and super tight for optimal power transmission when striking and during the fight.

The Shimano - Expride has been improved and compared to the previous model, the blank is made of higher modulated carbon. This gives you an even faster action, better balance and a slight weight reduction. The newly designed reel/reel seat not only looks good, but also gives you more sensitivity and grip.

The remarkable sensitivity you feel when using the Shimano - Expride is the result of two exclusive Shimano technologies. The High Modulus Full Carbon blanks are made using the Hi-Power X technology. This reduces blank twist when casting and fishing, resulting in a very responsive feel. A Carbon Monocoque handle has also been added that transfers more information from the blank to your hand, giving you an unprecedented feeling of what's happening with your lure underwater. To further improve the sensitivity and performance of the rod, the Shimano - Expride is equipped with Fuji SiC guides and a lightweight Shimano Ci4+ reel or reel seat.

The stunning performance is complimented by a classic matte black blank and cork front handle; one of the most attractive combinations we have ever made!

The 1+1 models have a one-piece main body with an incredibly fast action, giving you unprecedented directness. For a more convenient transport solution, there are also 2-piece options in all models, which are barely distinguishable from the 1+1 models due to the production quality.
